The digital newspaper archive project would not be possible without the generosity of people throughout Fillmore County. Major sponsors for the project include the Earl and Jessie Wilkins Fund, managed under the Fillmore County Foundation, who provided funding for two-thirds of the initial cost; the Mary F. Tous Charitable Foundation, who awarded the project almost $7,000; the Shickley Community Foundation, who awarded the project $3,500; the Milligan Community Club, who awarded $1,500; and the Fillmore County Genealogical Society who donated $1,000.
A full list of the organizations, businesses, and individuals who believed in the value of the project can be found here, as well as information on how you can support the continuation of digital newspaper access into the future.
